Does my home security company monitor my cameras?

No. Traditional home security companies only access your cameras after an intruder has been detected (i.e. when door or window sensor has been triggered). It's too late at that point to take preventive action.

How does your professional monitoring team detect suspicious activity?

Using advanced Artificial Intelligence, our system first determines if a human has triggered a motion alert. Our highly trained Monitoring Agents then immediately review the footage to determine if it contains any suspicious activity. Our proprietary process for determining if any actions rise to the level of being considered suspicious ensures that we minimize false alerts and only dispatch the police when it is in the best interest of you and your neighborhood.

Does my existing home security camera alert the police when it detects human activity?

No. Your camera may provide you with a motion-alert but it's up to you to review the alert. Alerts are only actionable when you are awake and quick to respond.

Does VigilSight monitor all home security cameras?

VigilSight only monitors exterior cameras.

How do you partner with Police Departments?

VigilSight is not a traditional home security company. We focus on preventing criminal activity by addressing suspicious behavior outside of the home. Our approach to home and neighborhood security ensures that we have zero false alarms and our calls to the Police receive a faster response time accordingly. VigilSight calls for service receive the highest priority designation because the suspicious activity has been verified by our Monitoring Agents.

What hours of the day is monitoring provided?

10pm to 6am.

How will I know if it's working?

VigilSight provides a periodic email summary of monitoring activity for your home and neighborhood. Our goal is for you to sleep soundly knowing that we are actively on the lookout for suspicious activity outside of your home. Should we detect anything suspicious you will be immediately notified by a Monitoring Agent.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. You pay a monthly fee per camera and can cancel at anytime by emailing: [email protected]
